Graduates earn 237 degrees from Warren County Community College


About 60.8 percent of the 237 degrees and certificates handed out by the Warren County Community College in 2016-17 were to students in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Washington conferred 144 associate's degrees in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities programs.

But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies. Data shows the school gave out 144 associate's degrees in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies, followed by 24 associate's degrees in Criminal Justice/Safety Studies and 11 associate's degrees in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse.

The college enrolled 3,194 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
