About 16 percent of the 344 degrees and certificates handed out by the Bloomfield College in 2016-17 were to students in Social Sciences programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Bloomfield conferred 55 bachelor's degrees in Social Sciences programs.
But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Sociology. Data shows the school gave out 54 bachelor's degrees in Sociology, followed by 54 bachelor's degrees in Psychology, General and 48 bachelor's degrees in Visual and Performing Arts, General.
The college enrolled 1,996 students for 2016-17, including 1,995 in undergraduate programs and 1 in graduate programs.
