Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on June 10.
Two decades. That is how long Berkeley College has been a member of the Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Jaime Pardo, a Career Services Counselor at Berkeley College, said the members within the chamber are one of the reasons Berkeley College has been a member themselves for so long.
“The MCRCC members are honestly the best,” Pardo said. “There are always new and existing members that make contributions to the MCRCC community which enhances the networking experience with quality and memorable events.
“And we obviously cannot forget about the staff,” Pardo added. “The MCRCC has the best team that is always there for their members and puts on great events, especially events to get to know other businesses and professionals within Middlesex County.”
Pardo recalled that they came out with new partnerships, meaningful learning experiences and quality connections at most events Berkeley College attended.
One of Pardo’s goals is to connect new and existing employers to hire and offer internships to his students and alumni. That is exactly what the chamber provides for their members, a networking opportunity that opens doors.
“I learn and gain a lot from the chamber,” said Pardo “I get to meet hard-working, amazing professionals that I hope to introduce to my talented, graduating alumni so I can direct them into meaningful careers.”
