About 18.1 percent of the 315 degrees and certificates handed out by Bloomfield College in 2017-18 were to students in visual and performing arts programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Bloomfield conferred 57 bachelor's degrees in visual and performing arts programs.
But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in visual and performing arts, general. Data shows the school gave out 57 bachelor's degrees in visual and performing arts, general, followed by 48 bachelor's degrees in general psychology and 45 bachelor's degrees in registered nursing/registered nurse.
The college enrolled 1,842 students for 2017-18, including 1,839 in undergraduate programs and 3 in graduate programs.
