Bergen County invites community to annual Winter Wonderland at Van Saun Park

Bergen County officials are inviting the public to Van Saun County Park for the annual Winter Wonderland event on Christmas Eve. The festivities will include ice skating, bumper cars, food trucks, and craft vendors. Visitors will also have a final opportunity to meet Mr. & Mrs. Claus.

The event begins at 11 a.m. and concludes at 6 p.m., with a live DJ performance by Scott Reddin scheduled for 4 p.m.

County Executive Jim Tedesco, the Bergen County Board of Commissioners, and the Bergen County Parks Department are organizing the event.

Bergen County’s Winter Wonderland will be closed on Christmas Day but will reopen on December 26 and continue daily through January 4.

The event marks the 10th anniversary of Winter Wonderland in Bergen County. The celebration is presented by Bergen New Bridge Medical Center and supported by sponsors including Ahead, Allan Briteway Electrical Utility Contractors, ANA Painting, Bergen County Education Association, Bruno and Associates, Care Plus, Connect One Bank, DARCARS, Digital Voice Media, Giacorp, Kearny Bank, Maverick Building Services, Millennium Communications Group, MRA International, Neglia Engineering, Orange and Rockland Electric, and Tilcon.
