Bergen County officials have announced that the Winter Wonderland event at Van Saun County Park will continue this weekend with a series of activities and performances. The event, now in its tenth year, is organized by the Bergen County Parks Department and supported by several sponsors.

The weekend’s schedule includes live music, ice skating on an open-air rink, bumper cars, food trucks, artisan vendors, and visits from Mr. and Mrs. Claus during their last full weekend at the event. A Menorah lighting ceremony will take place on December 20 at 7 PM, featuring a performance by the Young People’s Chorus at Thurnauer.

Friday night’s entertainment features “London’s Calling,” a Beatles tribute band. Saturday afternoon will include Americana and country music from Acoustic Rosewood between 2-4 PM before the Menorah lighting ceremony in the evening. On Sunday, Warning Track will perform classic rock from 2-4 PM.

Organizers encourage both residents and visitors to attend: “We invite residents and visitors alike to join in the celebration and make Winter Wonderland a part of their holiday tradition!”

Tickets are available online at www.BergenCountyWinterWonderland.com or can be purchased onsite.
