At a time when many people are looking for inspiration that leads to real action, the book “Today is the Day. LIVE IT!” is gaining attention across the United States.

The anthology, which features stories from 31 changemakers, has held two well-attended launch events on both coasts. These gatherings brought together the authors for panel discussions that focused on themes such as resilience, reinvention, leadership, and moving beyond comfort zones.

Jodi Hope Grinwald, a collaborator and author involved in the project, described its impact by saying: “proof that one courageous decision can create ripples far beyond what we see.” She added, “Watching these authors share their stories live and seeing audiences connect across generations has been one of the most meaningful moments of my career.”

The East Coast launch took place on January 24 in Barnegat and included 17 contributing authors who participated in a live panel discussion. State Senator Vin Gopal (D-11) recognized the contributors with official citations honoring their collective work.

A similar message was shared at the West Coast event. Early praise from leaders such as retired U.S. Army Gen. Stanley McChrystal has helped increase interest in the book.

Among those featured is Ann Marie Baker, Vice President of Design 446 in Manasquan. At the East Coast event, she spoke about how her passion for art led to supporting nearly 30 nonprofit organizations through service work. Design 446 also donated creative services to design both the cover and interior graphics of the book.

“Today is the Day. LIVE IT!” is now available nationwide at major retailers including Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

The New Jersey Business and Industry Association (NJBIA), according to its official website, serves as the nation’s largest statewide employer association representing employers across various sectors throughout New Jersey.
