The U.S. Census Bureau has published new data tables from the Annual Survey of State Government Finances for fiscal year 2024. The release includes detailed statistics on state government revenues, expenditures, and debt levels for each state.

These figures are used by various federal, state, and local agencies as well as educational and research institutions to conduct comparative studies. They also play a role in developing the government component of the gross domestic product.
