Choose New Jersey, a nonprofit focused on attracting businesses to the state, has announced a partnership with BDV Solutions to launch what they describe as the nation’s first Relocation Concierge Service. The new program aims to help both domestic and international companies and their employees manage the challenges of moving to New Jersey and integrating into its workforce.

The service is designed to support companies establishing operations in New Jersey by assisting senior leaders and their families with relocation. Support may include advice on housing, schools, opening bank accounts, obtaining Social Security numbers, and other aspects of settling in the state. The concierge service will be tailored to meet each company’s specific needs but will not provide direct visa or immigration guidance. The initiative targets industries such as life sciences, technology, and logistics, where efficient expansion and talent retention are seen as especially important.

Tim Crouch, chief strategy officer of Choose New Jersey, said: “This program demonstrates how Choose New Jersey leverages partnerships to deliver real solutions for businesses. By helping companies onboard international employees seamlessly and relocate executives and their families from other states to New Jersey, we are supporting New Jersey companies as they create new jobs, grow, and strengthen the state’s competitive edge.”

Chris Richardson, president & general counsel of BDV Solutions, added: “We are thrilled to partner with Choose New Jersey on this initiative. By providing a dedicated concierge service, we can remove friction for companies and employees, helping New Jersey continue to attract the best global talent.”

The program will operate in collaboration with Choose New Jersey offices in Newark and internationally. Local partners within the state will also be involved to make employee relocation as smooth as possible. BDV Solutions will handle management of the concierge service—including onboarding candidates, assisting international talent, and coordinating efforts with Choose New Jersey’s overseas offices.

Jen Lenhardt, interim president & CEO of Choose New Jersey stated: “From our work with companies across the globe, we know that streamlined international talent support is critical for growth. This initiative combines our local expertise with BDV Solutions’ proven capabilities to make New Jersey the easiest place for global talent to succeed.”

The first phase of the project includes hiring Deepa Balhara as a consultant overseeing operations from within New Jersey. Both organizations plan close cooperation with local businesses and community partners during implementation.
