Berkeley College was recognized on Apr. 14 with the gold-level Healthy Workforce Designation by Cigna Healthcare for its commitment to improving employee health through workplace wellness programs.
The recognition places Berkeley College among only 15 organizations in New Jersey to receive the 2025 gold-level designation from Cigna Healthcare. This award highlights the importance of fostering a healthy workforce, which is seen as vital for both business and community growth.
The Cigna Healthy Workforce Designation evaluates companies based on their well-being program components such as workforce insights, strategy and culture, engagement, experience, and additional areas. At Berkeley College, employees benefit from initiatives like biometric screenings, virtual Lunch and Learn activities, and Wellness Fairs. These programs are designed to promote engagement and accessibility for all staff members.
