Registration is now open for members of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) to attend the 55th International Convention of the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists (CBTU). The event will take place at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta, located at 265 Peachtree Street in Atlanta, Georgia.
The CBTU Convention serves as a national gathering point for trade unionists to discuss important labor topics. At last year’s convention, IAM members participated in sessions covering organizing, conflict resolution, leadership development, building collective power, and exchanging strategies to support both their union and the wider labor movement.
For attendees booking accommodation at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta, a group rate of $185 per night plus taxes has been arranged. Reservations must be made by April 24, 2026, to secure this rate. A one-night credit card deposit is required when booking; this deposit is refundable if canceled by April 15, 2026. After April 24, reservations are subject to availability and may be charged at the hotel’s standard rates.
