The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) has reminded its members and their families about the availability of support services during the holiday season. The union emphasized that this time of year can be difficult for some individuals and encouraged members to utilize resources if needed.

IAM offers two separate Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) that provide confidential support around the clock. These programs are designed to help members, their families, and loved ones manage challenges they may face.

Additionally, IAM highlighted national resources available to everyone. The National Suicide and Crisis Lifeline can be reached by dialing 988 or by texting 988. Online support is also accessible at 988lifeline.org. In emergencies where there is an immediate threat to life, individuals are advised to call 911.
