Larken Associates has started construction on Flemington Junction Business Center III, a new industrial and flex warehouse complex located at 21 Minneakoning Road in Flemington. The project will consist of two buildings totaling 70,637 square feet and is scheduled for completion in July 2026.
The development is designed to address the increasing need for Class-A shallow-bay industrial space in central New Jersey. Features of the facility include 31-foot clear ceiling heights, 50-foot column spacing, six loading dock doors with levelers, multiple drive-in doors, heavy power and floor load capacity, LED motion sensor lighting, and full site circulation. Units begin at 3,900 square feet and can be combined to accommodate larger tenants up to 35,300 square feet.
Flemington Junction Business Center III expands Larken Associates’ presence in the area. The company’s existing Flemington industrial properties—Flemington Junction Business Center and Flemington Junction Business Center II—will bring the total combined space to 270,000 square feet once the new project is completed. This represents a quarter of Larken Associates’ industrial development over the past five years. Overall, their industrial portfolio covers more than one million square feet across New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Rob Marek, executive vice president of Larken Associates’ Commercial Division, said: “Hunterdon County has consistently maintained one of the lowest industrial vacancy rates in the state. This supply-constrained environment makes it difficult for businesses to find the space they need to grow. With Flemington Junction Business Center III, we are excited to deliver modern, flexible space that will support local businesses and strengthen the regional economy.”
