The New Jersey Business & Industry Association (NJBIA) continues its efforts to highlight business issues through its weekly television program, “Minding Your Business.” The show, which has received seven Telly Awards in the past three years—including a gold award in 2024 for Interview & Talk Show—features interviews with local business leaders and covers topics relevant to the state’s business community. Hosted by Bob Considine, the program airs on News 12+ every weekend.

A recent episode revisited by NJBIA featured an interview with Audrey Lane, President of Garden State Initiative. Lane discussed her organization’s latest report examining the economic impact and underlying assumptions of New Jersey’s Energy Master Plan (EMP). According to Lane, the report reveals significant financial burdens associated with the plan and questions some of its foundational premises. “The think tank’s new report exposes the staggering economic costs and unrealistic assumptions behind the state’s Energy Master Plan,” Lane said.

In addition to policy analysis, the episode also concluded its Shore Summer Series by spotlighting Chef Mike’s Atlantic Bar & Grill in Seaside Park. Owner Mike Jurusz spoke about his restaurant’s final summer season and reflected on its legacy as it prepares to close at year’s end.

“Minding Your Business” can be seen on Saturdays at 9:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., as well as Sundays at 9:30 a.m. on News 12+.
