In an effort to inform the business community ahead of New Jersey’s gubernatorial election, the New Jersey Business & Industry Association (NJBIA) has released a video series summarizing its policy recommendations. The series, called Blueprint Minute, features NJBIA Chief Government Affairs Officer Christopher Emigholz, who outlines strategies to address consumer affairs, legal, and insurance costs in the state.

The video series is based on NJBIA’s Blueprint for a Competitive New Jersey, a 28-page policy document aimed at providing guidance for gubernatorial candidates to foster innovation and economic growth. The Blueprint Minute videos break down each chapter of the document and encourage viewers to learn about the policy positions of both major candidates, Democrat Mikie Sherrill and Republican Jack Ciattarelli.

“NJBIA’s Blueprint Minute video series provides a summary of each of the document’s content chapters, while inviting the state’s business community and other interested parties to view Democrat Mikie Sherrill and Republican Jack Ciattarelli’s positions and approaches to each respective issue,” the association stated.

The association has made available websites where voters can compare the policy stances of both candidates.
