NJBIA to host discussion on healthcare impacts of OBBBA and federal policy changes

NJBIA will host an online Health Affairs Policy Committee meeting on October 21 to discuss the effects of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) and related federal policy changes on healthcare in New Jersey. The meeting is open to NJBIA members.

Speakers for the event include Jonathan Chebra, Deputy Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Human Services. Chebra will discuss the department’s priorities and how it is responding to OBBBA and other federal policy changes that affect healthcare and human services.

Robin Ford, Vice President of Healthcare Reimbursement at the New Jersey Hospital Association, will provide an overview of how OBBBA and federal initiatives are influencing New Jersey’s hospital systems.

Libby Vinson, CEO of the New Jersey Association of Community Providers, will address the broader impact of OBBBA on community service providers and highlight key federal developments.

Ward Sanders, President of the New Jersey Association of Health Plans, will speak about the implications of OBBBA and other federal policy decisions for the health insurance sector.

The meeting is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on October 21. NJBIA Policy Committees offer members exclusive access to updates on legislation and regulations affecting their businesses. Members interested in joining a policy committee can find more information on the NJBIA website.
