This weekend’s episode of “Minding Your Business” on News 12+ will feature highlights from the New Jersey Business & Industry Association’s (NJBIA) Energy and Environmental Policy Conference. During the event, Ralph LaRossa, CEO of Public Service Electric & Gas (PSE&G), participated in a discussion with NJBIA CEO Michele Siekerka about current energy opportunities and challenges facing New Jersey.

The program will also include an interview with Dr. Alexis LaPietra, System Director of Addiction Medicine for Emergency Medicine and Hospitalist Services at RWJBarnabas Health. Dr. LaPietra will speak with Bob Considine about the impact of substance abuse across different populations.

Dr. LaPietra, who is also Medical Director for RWJ Barnabas Health’s Institute for Prevention and Recovery, will address the range of programs available to those struggling with addiction. She will discuss efforts to overcome stigmas and cultural misconceptions that can hinder access to addiction care.

“Minding Your Business,” produced by NJBIA, is a weekly television show that has received seven Telly Awards over the past three years, including a gold award in 2024 in the Interview & Talk Show category. The show airs on News 12+ at 9:30 a.m. every Saturday and Sunday, as well as at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
