Employers focused on sustainability, environmental issues, and climate change are being invited to take part in the upcoming NJHEPS Green Jobs Fair. The event aims to connect New Jersey college students and alumni who have skills and interest in these fields with potential employers.

The New Jersey Higher Education Partnership for Sustainability (NJHEPS) will host the Green Jobs Fair on Tuesday, March 3, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Rutgers Douglass Student Center in New Brunswick.

Employers interested in participating must register by February 16.

While the fair is held at Rutgers University, students and alumni from colleges and universities across New Jersey are expected to attend.

Besides hosting a booth, employers can also join an NJHEPS executive board roundtable discussion on how artificial intelligence is affecting hiring processes. This session is scheduled from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., before the main job fair begins at noon.

Sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses seeking greater visibility both on campus and at the fair. For more information, NJHEPS can be contacted via email at contact@njheps.org.

The New Jersey Business and Industry Association (NJBIA), established in 1910, is recognized as the largest statewide employer organization in the country. It represents a wide range of businesses throughout New Jersey—from manufacturing to services—and provides support through advocacy, resources, partnerships with educational institutions and government entities, and cost-saving benefits to its members. The association is headquartered in Trenton and led by President and CEO Michele Siekerka.
