Quest Diagnostics Incorporated announced on Mar. 13 that Timothy Wentworth has been elected to its board of directors, bringing the total number of board members to eleven.
The appointment is significant as Quest Diagnostics continues to expand its leadership team with experienced executives from the healthcare industry. Wentworth’s background includes leading several major healthcare organizations and working across multiple sectors relevant to Quest’s operations.
Jim Davis, chairman, CEO and president of Quest Diagnostics, said, “As a former CEO of several large, publicly traded healthcare organizations, Tim brings incredible leadership experience to the Quest board. His depth in the many channels Quest serves, including health plan, employer and consumer, combined with his real-world operations and HR expertise, makes him an exceptional addition to the Quest team as we work together to create a healthier world, one life at a time.”
Wentworth most recently served as chief executive officer of Walgreens Boots Alliance where he oversaw restructuring efforts ahead of its sale in mid-2025.
