RWJBarnabas Health’s Dr. Alexis LaPietra will appear on the upcoming episode of “Minding Your Business” on News 12+ to address issues related to substance abuse and addiction recovery. Dr. LaPietra, who is the System Director of Addiction Medicine for Emergency Medicine and Hospitalist Services at RWJBarnabas Health, will join host Bob Considine to talk about how substance abuse can impact people from various backgrounds.

In her role as Medical Director for RWJ Barnabas Health’s Institute for Prevention and Recovery, Dr. LaPietra will discuss available programs designed to help those dealing with addiction. She will also cover how stigma and cultural perceptions can create obstacles for individuals seeking care.

The episode will also feature highlights from the New Jersey Business & Industry Association (NJBIA) Energy and Environmental Policy Conference. During this segment, PSE&G CEO Ralph LaRossa speaks with NJBIA CEO Michele Siekerka about current energy opportunities and challenges facing New Jersey.

“Minding Your Business” is a weekly television program produced by NJBIA. The show has received seven Telly Awards in the past three years, including a gold award in 2024 in the Interview & Talk Show category. It airs on News 12+ at 9:30 a.m. every Saturday and Sunday, as well as at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
