Red Bull New York has entered into a partnership with RWJBarnabas Health, making the health system the naming rights partner for the club’s new performance center in Morris Township, New Jersey. The facility will be called the RWJBarnabas Health Red Bulls Performance Center and is scheduled to open in March 2026.

As part of this multi-year agreement, RWJBarnabas Health becomes the Official Hometown Healthcare System and EMS Provider for Sports Illustrated Stadium, Red Bull New York, Red Bull New York II, and all Red Bulls Youth Programs and Academy teams. The health system will also serve as the Official Health and Wellness Provider for youth programs.

RWJBarnabas Health branding will appear on all training gear worn by players throughout the season. The organization will also be present at home matches through various activations, including participation in pre-match fan events.

Gerardo Chiricolo, MD has been named Chief Medical Officer for the club under this partnership. He will work closely with team staff to oversee athlete care. RWJBarnabas Health will provide medical services such as physicals, imaging, lab work, rehabilitation plans, injury prevention strategies, and treatment to support player fitness.

The new performance center covers 80 acres and includes eight full-size outdoor soccer fields with a mix of natural grass and turf surfaces. One field is designated for Academy games with seating for 500 spectators. Advanced technology like multi-angle camera tracking systems will be used for analytics and player development. The complex will house both professional teams and youth programs.

Facilities within the center include gyms for both professional and academy athletes, a dining hall with nutrition spaces led by a professional chef, academic areas for youth education, as well as medical suites equipped for physiotherapy and recovery.

The partnership extends beyond athletics to community engagement initiatives such as “Red Bull For A Day,” which allows patients to serve as honorary players during special experiences. Local soccer clubs can participate in halftime mini-games at Sports Illustrated Stadium presented by RWJBarnabas Health. There are also plans to integrate branding across digital content and community platforms.

A collaborative health and wellness education series is planned where parents of youth soccer participants can access educational sessions on topics like sports performance, nutrition, rehabilitation, recovery strategies, and player safety.

“We are proud to become the Naming Rights Partner of the RWJBarnabas Health Red Bulls Performance Center and to serve as the Official Hometown Healthcare System of Red Bull New York,” said Mark E. Manigan, President and CEO of RWJBarnabas Health. “This partnership reflects our shared commitment to excellence, innovation, and building a healthier New Jersey. The new Performance Center will establish the benchmark for elite training and player development in North America, and together we are investing in a healthier, stronger future for communities across New Jersey and beyond.”

Marc de Grandpré, President & General Manager of Red Bull New York added: “We are honored to welcome RWJBarnabas Health as a trusted and committed partner. From our earliest conversations it was clear we share the same values and a strong belief in the meaningful role a club can play in its community. Together we look forward to building a partnership that elevates the experience on the pitch and strengthens the health growth and connection of the communities we proudly serve.”

Red Bull New York players will also engage annually with patients at hospitals across RWJBarnabas Health’s network alongside its 45,000 employees statewide.

RWJBarnabas Health is recognized as one of New Jersey’s largest private employers with more than 45,000 employees contributing over $7 billion annually to the state economy. It operates 14 hospitals along with numerous affiliated physicians providing care at more than 700 locations statewide.

Red Bulls Youth Programs reach about 50,000 participants each year throughout New Jersey and New York through local partnerships as well as regional development schools—forming an important part of their approach toward developing homegrown talent.
