The Office of Mission and Ministry, together with the Center for Vocation and Servant Leadership, will hold seminars in Spring 2026 focused on Seton Hall University’s mission. The initiative invites faculty and administrators to reflect on the university’s history and Catholic identity. According to organizers, “Faculty and administrators are invited to a sustained reflection on the University’s mission in light of its history and Catholic character in order to better understand the vocation of the University and our individual vocations as part of the Seton Hall community.”
Participants will engage with foundational texts and current commentary about what defines a Catholic university, as well as examine Seton Hall’s specific role. To encourage meaningful discussion, each seminar group will be limited to 14 participants. The series is scheduled for six meetings throughout the semester.
Eligible faculty members who take part in these sessions will receive a $500 stipend.
Further details about the seminar can be found by visiting the official announcement page.
