The Center for Catholic Studies at Seton Hall University has opened the application process for the 2026–27 Monsignor Edward Ciuba Fellowship. The fellowship, named in honor of Monsignor Edward Ciuba, aims to support projects that foster collaboration between Seton Hall faculty and graduate students with Catholic parishes, schools, ministries, and organizations.

The fellowship is awarded each year and is designed to promote initiatives that combine academic research with pastoral work. Recipients will receive a $5,000 stipend paid in two installments throughout their project.

Patrick Manning, Ph.D., director of the Center for Catholic Studies, said: “The Ciuba Fellowship reflects our commitment to ensuring that academic work remains deeply connected to the life of the Church. It is a concrete expression of Seton Hall’s mission to unite faith and reason in service to others.”

Applications for the 2026–27 academic year must be submitted by March 31, 2026. More details and application materials are available on the Center for Catholic Studies Ciuba Fellowship page.
