The Division of Volunteer Efforts (DOVE) at Seton Hall University announced that its annual Toy Drive collected a record 2,063 new toys this holiday season. The total is the highest in the drive’s history.

The Toy Drive gathers support from students, alumni, faculty, staff, families and friends to provide gifts for children in New Jersey and Appalachia, West Virginia. Donations included new, unwrapped toys and monetary contributions.

According to DOVE, most of the donated toys have already been delivered to community partners so they could reach children before the holidays. The organization thanked everyone who participated. “Thanks to this collective effort, nearly all donated toys have already been delivered to community partners, ensuring they reached children in need in time for the holidays,” DOVE stated.

DOVE expressed gratitude for those involved in making the drive possible. “As we celebrate this record-breaking year, DOVE remains deeply grateful to everyone who made the Toy Drive possible. May this season of giving bring joy, peace, and warmth to our donors, volunteers, community partners and all the children and families they support. Happy Holidays!”
