The Office of Student Engagement at Seton Hall University recently organized a Welcome Back Happy Hour for the Class of 2026, marking the start of their final semester. The event provided senior-status students an opportunity to reconnect with classmates and participate in activities such as karaoke.

This is the second happy hour held for this class and is part of a series of events offered by the Office throughout the Spring semester. Seniors are also able to schedule portrait sessions on the South Orange campus during February and March, while those at the Interprofessional Health Science (IHS) campus have sessions available in April. In addition, vendors like Balfour Rings and Herff Jones visit campus during Spring to offer class rings.

On March 25, the Office will host “Last 56 Days!”—an event that marks 56 days until Commencement. This gathering will involve other campus groups such as the Career Center, Student Alumni Association, and Graduate Affairs. Seniors can expect food, giveaways, and prizes at both South Orange and IHS campuses.

Leading up to Commencement in May, seniors can participate in “Senior Days,” a weeklong program featuring signature events including Senior Fire Pit Night and Senior Trip. The Office collaborates with organizations like the Student Government Association, Young Alumni Council, and Downtown South Orange for additional programs such as happy hours and local discounts.

Many of these activities are included on a Senior Bucket List—a checklist designed to encourage participation in traditional Seton Hall experiences before graduation. Students are encouraged to share their progress through social media or email.

The Office of Student Engagement stated: “As our students get closer to their transition into alumni, the Office of Student Engagement is excited to create memories that bring our newest graduating class together.”

For more information about senior programs, students are directed to contact the Office or visit relevant online pages.
