Two hospitals within the RWJBarnabas Health network have received 2025 Human Experience Awards from Press Ganey, a company specializing in healthcare experience solutions. Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus was recognized with the Human Experience (HX) Guardian of Excellence Award for its physician experience in acute care. Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center earned the Pinnacle of Excellence Award for patient experience in its neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
Press Ganey collaborates with over 41,000 healthcare facilities to improve safety, quality, and overall care experiences. The HX Guardian of Excellence Award is given annually to hospitals and health systems ranked among the top 5% nationwide for delivering an exceptional physician experience in acute care. Similarly, the Pinnacle of Excellence Award signifies that Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center’s NICU ranks among the top 5% of providers for patient experience.
RWJBarnabas Health is New Jersey’s largest academic health system, serving more than five million people each year through a network that includes 14 hospitals and over 9,000 affiliated physicians at more than 700 locations across the state. The health system also has a partnership with Rutgers University, which includes collaboration with Rutgers Cancer Institute—the only NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center in New Jersey—and Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. RWJBarnabas Health employs more than 44,000 people and contributes over $7 billion annually to New Jersey’s economy. More information can be found at www.RWJBH.org.
