Flying Food Group SEA has unveiled a partnership with Hainan Airlines to facilitate direct flights between Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and Beijing Capital International Airport. The service, which commenced this month, operates thrice weekly.

A press release from Flying Food Group highlighted that the initiation of this service signifies a crucial milestone in reinstating air service between the United States and China.

The press release further elaborated on the partnership between Flying Food Group and Hainan Airlines. It encompasses a long-term, multi-city agreement where Flying Food Group will offer in-flight catering services. However, the company also emphasized that this collaboration fortifies economic and cultural bonds between the United States and China.

"We are delighted to be servicing Hainan Airlines and to have partnered to support their upcoming expansion," stated Nicolas Rondeau, Senior Sales and Marketing Management Executive at Flying Food Group. "This collaboration underscores our dedication to providing exceptional in-flight catering services and contributing to the success of our airline partners."

As per information available on the company’s website, Flying Food Group has been rendering in-flight catering services since 1983. The company was established by Sue Gin, who passed away in 2014.

According to details provided on Hainan Airlines's website, the airline was founded in 1993. Hainan Airlines along with its subsidiaries operate approximately 1,700 routes within China and over 200 international routes, connecting 44 cities across Asia, Europe, Africa, North America, and Oceania. The company maintains bases or branches in 24 cities within China including Beijing, Haikou, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou.
